Now right-click on the layer and choose 'Blending Options' and change the bevel and counter settings to be fairly close to these ones which I used.
And the end result will look something like the photoshop image to the left.
This short tutorial teaches you how to create an interface with a futuristic decay/grunge effect in photoshop.
To start off select the Photoshop Autoshape Tool and set it to match the following settings.Then drag it out on the canvas to create a rounded rectangle shape.
Select the path-selection tool (the little white arrow right on top of the pen tool) then click the edge of the shape to put it in focus (it will look like the image to the right once in focus)
Then right click and choose create vector mask and fill the shape with a light shade of grey, I used 15% grey or RGB (218, 218, 218)
